As an active member of the Food Recovery Network, Anna Ries-Roncalli has recovered thousands of pounds of food that would have gone to waste and redistributed it to Chicago food pantries. Within the School of Environmental Sustainability, she participated in faculty-mentored research projects on air quality and the presence of toxic chemicals in water.
